Here’s a dumb doodle

Just realised that I should stop trying to go for complex anatomy n shit and just learn it on my own. I’m a fuckin amateur artist, and I’m proud of it. I’m gonna go make my garbage now before I start churning out gold in like 20 years time. Art is awesome when you actually learn stuff at your own pace and when you feel like it. Go open up that anatomy tutorial because you WANT TO take your art to the next level, not cuz everyone else is doin it

it’s fuckin 4:45 AM WHAT AM I DOING

If you're in the YT comment section (for whatever godforsaken reason), don't even think about switching to new comments. Trust me, it's a hellhole in there.

It's literally near perfect. The speed stages are fast and reaction-based, the werehog stages have fun combat and great platforming. The only problem is the medal collecting and even then it shouldn't be too bad if you're on the lookout for them at all points, especially in the werehog sections, where it can actually be quite fun.

Overall, a 9.8/10, and that's just me being the most strict I can possibly be towards this game. On par with Hollow Knight, I'm in love with these two games

In an age where arguments about LGBTQ, black, and women's rights are becoming the norm on the Internet (I keep on seeing at least 5 anti-sjw shorts on my YT recommended, and Twitter is, well, Twitter) and some chronically-online folks think it's a great cause to fight against basic human rights and equality, I'm glad NG never reached that point (unless you count the Politics forum, but it's dead and buried now so who cares).

Here's a great example. While Elongated Muskrat thinks basic grammar (a.k.a. pronouns) is dumb, Newgrounds already has the option for custom pronouns, which is awesome for trans folks and shitposters alike. Not to mention how generally accepting the community is of people of different ethnicities, sexualities, and genders. It's awesome.

So basically, I'm glad to be a part of a website that doesn't make me feel like people hate me just for being different :)

I was listening to One Weird Tip by Lemon Demon, and there's this one segment where Neil Cicierega whispers into my right ear while reading out Facebook notifications, and it gives me a tingly feeling in my right ear that is oddly satisfying. Same goes for Piggy by Nine Inch Nails, where Trent Reznor just moves from the front to my right side to whisper the chorus of the song to me. Again, it gives me that tingly feeling I like.

Basically, more songs need to have whispering in your right ear that gives you that tingling feeling. Alternatively, you can do what David Bowie did with Space Oddity and hide a different David Bowie singing the song on the left side that I only just discovered after dusting off my old cheap headphones and listening to the song with it. It rules, might have to try it with other David Bowie songs.

Uhh so yeah that's all I have to say

It’s actually a pretty good version of Minecraft. Does it have its own quirks? Yes. Is it the best version of Minecraft? No, that title obviously belongs to Java Edition. But Bedrock is also where I can play with (and bully) my sister on a LAN server with no extra steps. I use an iPad (with a controller, yes I’m not a total psychopath), and my sister uses my phone, so we can only really play Minecraft bedrock, and it’s a hoot.

also betsy my beloved

betsy is the bird btw

oh and also I’m still working on the new artwork. Here’s this dumb doodle to satiate the need of the one person who happens to randomly check this post out

Like holy shit, is it unbearable to listen to both sides of the argument. I love using Linux more than Windows, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s OBJECTIVELY better than Windows. They both have their own merits (Linux has better performance and isn’t bloated with useless software, and Windows is better for gaming).

And yet, whenever I go check the discussion surrounding Linux, it’s always the two annoying sides battling with each other as to whether or not Linux is better than every other OS in every regard or if it’s overrated and has zero merits compared to the competition. Both are incredibly false (Linux is best for server stuff and privacy but isn’t that user-friendly, while Windows is great for general work and gaming but sucks ass in general performance even if you have a decent PC, and macOS is great for video work but is only good in other regards from what I’ve heard. All of these have their own flaws and merits) which makes this discussion even more pointless.

also, just for clarification, I’m not saying Linux is fully great in privacy. If you have chrome, you’re pretty much sacrificing some of your privacy anyways. I’m just saying that it’s better compared to what Windows is doing.

Overall, fuck Linux discussion, just get whatever OS is best for you (or dual boot if you like both of them).

Currently going through some of my favorite LD songs (like Reaganomics and Something Glowing) and all it makes me wish is that he'd just make a new album already. Listening to his music genuinely makes me feel like I'm in a different world.

Anyways all I have to say is that I hope Neil's new album is around the corner (but even if it isn't, that's fine. Let Neil take all the time he needs for whatever he's cooking up).
