This was genuinely awesome. I loved it. (also this is my first time beating the fight. I always skipped the boss fight just to get to the ending cutscene. Feels good to actually beat it after all these years)

Honestly, huge thanks to @MonoXD and @Kiorka for their reviews. Without them I wouldn't have beaten this game. 7 year old me never would've thought of using the Protect ability, then using normal attacks, then using the G. Beam and Purple Vortex abilities when the Master Emerald is exposed, then healing right after getting attacked by the charged attack, then repeating all that.

I FINALLY BEAT THIS STUPID FUCKING GAME AFTER LIKE 9 YEARS

no joke I was stuck on this game for hours when I was 7. Worth it. Really thought the bossfight was kinda cool. You have to manage your MP points and heal at the exact right time, while taking the risk of death. Interesting risk-reward gameplay here. Impressive for an interactive flash movie from 2006.
