This brings me to reddit. As if the general reddit userbase wasn't already insufferable enough, there are ye subreddits, most of which are filled with annoying af fans who dickride everything ye does. r/GoodAssSub is the best out of all these subs (disregarding subreddits dedicated to ye leaks or fan edits of the post-2018 stuff which is usually better than what the man himself actually release), and even it's fucking rancid. I don't know how a subreddit can get its priorities so fucked beyond comparison. Apparently YZY porn was the moment ye fell off for these stupid mfs, as if yitler wasn't all that bad in comparison. Kanye releases a shitty AI verse over a great beat he made (essentially wasting the potential of the song, just like JIK, parts of Donda, Donda 2, and the VULTURES era), and people debate that shit like as if it isn't obvious why it sucks; JUST LISTEN TO IT. NO SOUL. DIDN'T YE RELEASE GOOD (DON'T DIE) THIS YEAR? he did great on that song, but apparently is lazy af to do any verses himself on his big solo album where he's supposedly locking in. VULTURES 2 and every other song afterwards has so much AI usage it's fucking baffling. AI is supposed to be the future? Because if so then the future fucking reeks of shit. HE UPDATED THE ALBUM RECENTLY and aside from bomb having that one yuno miles feature that actually saves the song ngl, 530 IS STILL FUCKING SHIT. HE REPLACED THE MUMBLE WITH AI LMAO. THIS IS FUCKED BEYOND COMPARISON.

this was the guy that revolutionised hip-hop with The College Dropout, continued the album's momentum with Late Registration, fused hip-hop and classical with Late Orchestration, proved himself to be an unstoppable force with Graduation, revolutionised the music scene in general with 808s & Heartbreak, cemented his legacy as one of the hip-hop greats with MBDTF, revolutionised mainstream hip-hop with Yeezus, proved to everybody that he'll always be here to stay regardless of controversy with TLOP, handled his mental illness really well through his art with ye and Kids See Ghosts, and proved to everybody that he can be an adaptive artist with Donda (JIK was just a rushed christian Yandhi so it doesn't count in evaluating ye's talent). In three years, he went from Donda to whatever he's doing now. All it took was his yesmen, Candace Owens, AI, and an unmedicated mental illness

So basically I have a list of my favourite albums. Normal shit, I basically have a bunch of albums I absolutely ADORE on that list.

Now, a problem I faced recently was that I didn't feel right about adding three albums on there: MBDTF, KIDS SEE GHOSTS, and The College Dropout. Now, these are absolutely brilliant albums (I'm feeling like MBDTF will eventually return to the list anyways, I have a weird relationship with that album and ofc it's only because of Blame Game), but I didn't feel right about adding them to the list. You could argue that it's only because of Ye's awful actions, but I still have Yeezus on the list (because it fucking bangs HARD). It's just because I felt pressured (by literally nothing lol) to add some of Kanye's most highly rated albums to the list. But ofc, my heart didn't agree with that (corny shit, ik).

so uhhh lists are dumb, just put whatever you're 100% confident with (that's a personal note to myself)

i literally added MBDTF (Deluxe) to the list while writing this, this album shall haunt me forever
